France The Birthplace of Movements

France has been the birthplace of many movements because it was a liberal place and people of all faiths.

Unlike India the French do not place limits of freedom of speech and expression and writing.

France The Birthplace of Movements

France has undergone a change of heart. The era of liberalism is over. They are now prepared to dig in and fight back. Against those who beheaded a teacher for showing that she has freedom of expression.

France connection with the drug trade

France has been the birthplace of many movements. Because it was a liberal place and people of all faiths and political hues were welcome in France. For those who have grown up in the 20th Century. France was well known for its connection with the drug trade. The espionage network of the Cold War and lastly for the rise of Islamic Fundamentalism under the Ayatollahs of Iran.

The first Islamic Fundamentalist movement

The first Islamic Fundamentalist movement began under the shadow of the Eifel Tower. To culminate in the overthrow of the Shah of Iran and depose a liberal regime. It was a medieval one that stank of censure and intolerance and last but not least of a culture of bigotry and took Iran back to the dark ages of religious persecution.

Ayatollah Khomeini set up his revolution

It was from Paris that Ayatollah Khomeini set up his revolution to overthrow the Shah of Iran. And turn Iran into a totalitarian state that brooks no dissent and tolerates no liberalism.

Unfortunately it was the liberal openness of France that gave him the space to fulfill this mission. This liberal space was occupied by all and sundry and France witnessed a spate of attacks on artistic freedom.

Unlike India the French do not place limits of freedom of speech and expression and writing. These freedoms are not curbed by religions and cultures but for a long time. The French have not responded to the attacks on these freedoms till now.
